Amigos de Sian Ka'an is one of the most important Non-Governmental Organizations in Mexico, dedicated to environmental conservation and sustainable development.

This unique eco-turistic approach diversify the touristic offer of the Quintana-Roo state, based in sustainable visits to nature attractions and strengthening the Sian Ka'an Biosphere Reserve preservation, which is a recognized Word Heritage.

In addition, Maya Ka'an incentive the communitary and regional development, by boosting the sustainable and productive projects of Mayan communities involving handcrafts, medicinal products, food conserves, among others.

Maya Ka'an mission is to facilitate the Mayan communities participation in tourism, with focus on conservation and sustainable use of natural resources, to improve their quality of life.
